Een proefpotje Painting the Past muurverf heeft een inhoud van 100ml. Met dit proefpotje kunt u ongeveer 1 mtr² wand of plafond behandelen. Hiermee krijgt u een goed beeld van het uiteindelijke resultaat.
Het is niet nodig uw muur of plafond voor te behandelen voordat u de Painting the Past krijtverf aanbrengt. Wel is het belangrijk dat deze droog, schoon en vetvrij is. Mocht de ondergrond enigszins poreus zijn, dan kunt u de muurverf met 10% schoon water aanlengen.
De muurverf is na ongeveer een uur stofdroog. Voor het aanbrengen van een tweede laag muurverf dient u het behandelde oppervlak 6 uur te laten drogen.
